About the job

Asana is seeking a compassionate and results-driven Engineering Manager to spearhead our Track Anything (TA) team. The TA team is dedicated to fundamentally enhancing Asana's adaptability and improving collaborative work planning for teams. Our users are pushing the limits of the traditional 'task,' thus you will be involved in projects that empower them to clearly define and monitor the elements that truly matter in their real-world tasks. Track Anything achieves this by developing robust, flexible, and intelligent attributes (such as Custom Fields and Custom Task Types) that mirror the real-world dynamics of work, enhancing the unique potential of the Work Graph within Asana.

In your role as manager of this established team, you will play a key role in executing the long-term strategy, nurturing an inclusive team culture, and ensuring the team remains energized and focused on upcoming initiatives.

At Asana, we are committed to building innovative collaboration and communication software designed to enable every team globally to work together seamlessly and accomplish remarkable outcomes. Our goal is to compete with the best enterprise software, offering comprehensive functionality and controls to meet the demands of the largest organizations, while delivering exceptional stability, security, and compliance. Our product engineering team collaborates closely with designers and product managers to continuously refine the Asana experience for all users. We are engaged throughout the entire product lifecycle—from conception during events like hackathons to post-launch evaluations. We prioritize empathy for both our colleagues and users, striving to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

This position is based in our New York City office, following an office-centric hybrid work model. Most of the time, you will work in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. Your Talent Acquisition Partner will provide further details regarding in-office requirements during the interview process.
