Canonical, a premier provider of open-source software solutions, is seeking an Engineering Manager to spearhead our Ubuntu Hardware Certification Quality Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and execution of rigorous test suites that ensure hardware compatibility with Ubuntu Linux across Core, Desktop, and Server platforms. Collaborating closely with silicon companies, OEMs, and ODMs, you will help deliver a seamless and secure Ubuntu experience. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing our certification test strategy for partnerships with industry leaders such as Advantech, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo, while advancing our automated hardware validation processes using Canonical’s open-source frameworks and cutting-edge hardware. This is an exceptional opportunity for a quality-driven engineering leader with a strong passion for test automation and team development.
