Join Movable Ink as an Engineering Manager, where you will lead the Behavioral team to transform raw customer signals into impactful marketing triggers. This team develops the behavioral intelligence layer of our platform, creating systems that identify patterns in customer engagement and inactivity—such as cart abandonment, price fluctuations, or loyalty milestones—converting these into automated messaging opportunities. As a hands-on leader, you will blend technical expertise with leadership skills, guiding a talented group of engineers while being deeply involved in architectural and system design. Your role will be pivotal in building scalable solutions that manage high-volume event data, driving real-time marketing decisions. You will set the strategic direction for the team while actively solving complex challenges, influencing system architecture, and demonstrating technical prowess through personal contributions.

You will report to the Senior Director of Engineering in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a diverse engineering team focused on behavioral decision-making capabilities, promoting a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to define and enhance the roadmap for behavioral decision-making capabilities, identifying impactful behavioral triggers to maximize customer value.
  • Oversee key initiatives from conception to delivery, translating product goals into actionable technical plans, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, reliable solutions.
