Develop and execute a detailed territory plan. Oversee the complete sales process to meet key performance indicators and quotas, with a strong focus on acquiring new business. This includes prospecting and outreach to new SLED business opportunities, providing product demonstrations, product trials, and strategic negotiations with clients and channel partners. Achieve or surpass individual targets while contributing to team and company success. Demonstrated ability to proactively explore new, untapped markets with greenfield accounts, achieving a quarterly quota of at least one qualified net new customer. Initiate and manage expansion discussions to enhance customer retention, identifying customer goals, requirements, budget constraints, and key decision-makers. Formulate a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy and collaborate with Verkada’s channel partners.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual with exceptional energy, passion, and expertise in driving new business growth within the State and Local (municipalities with populations over 250,000 and city governments with populations exceeding 500,000) and Education (10,000 students or more) (SLED) market. This individual will be part of our expanding Public Sector Field Sales team and will cover the Chicago area. The Enterprise Account Executive will be pivotal in territory development, focusing on crafting and implementing a sales strategy within an assigned region that leads to new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
