Job Summary:

The ideal candidate for the Business Analyst role will actively engage with our business clients to define process flows for operations, gather and document business requirements, and support system and quality assurance testing. Familiarity with the Joint Application Development (JAD) process is essential, as the analyst will enhance user engagement, accelerate development cycles, and improve specification quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and document detailed business requirements in a clear, traceable format.
  • Utilize business requirements modeling techniques, including Unified Modeling Language (UML).
  • Collaborate with business users, developers, and stakeholders throughout various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Engage in all phases of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology to support project development.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify business rules, system processes, and user requirements.
  • Document issues, risks, and gaps, including their impact and recommendations for solutions.
  • Outline a roadmap for future implementation phases.
  • Explore integration opportunities with other enterprise systems.
  • Create specifications for dashboards and reports as requested by business stakeholders.
  • Define data requirements and maintain Data Dictionaries.
  • Coordinate with Database Reporting to establish effective data sharing and delivery methods.
  • Work closely with IT Managers involved in the project.
  • Collaborate with business users to clarify business rules for functional specifications.
