Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Work Location: Fully Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a government AWS cloud instance of Siemens’ Teamcenter application.
- Perform maintenance patching and upgrades on the core Siemens Teamcenter application.
- Configure integrations and interfaces of third-party tools with Teamcenter.
- Enhance network performance through monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct system monitoring to ensure hardware, network, and server resource integrity.
- Review logs and confirm completion of scheduled jobs, including backups.
- Analyze resource consumption and manage user access effectively.
- Facilitate software installations/upgrades and manage software licenses.
- Provide troubleshooting support using application logs and Windows logs.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team while also excelling independently.
- Participate in Teams meetings for requirement gathering, troubleshooting, and application support.
- Assist in documenting processes, ensuring consistency, and keeping documentation updated.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience in systems administration tasks on Windows and/or Linux environments, including software installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills, adept at managing priorities and customer needs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation.
Desired:
- Familiarity with Naval aviation logistics systems and relevant IT tools.
