Role Overview
The Entry-Level Hardware Technician (Hardware Technician I) is often the first Perry Weather team member clients meet. This role centers on assembling, installing, and maintaining Perry Weather’s proprietary hardware at locations across the United States. - Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical tools for both assembly and installation tasks.
- Work outdoors in all types of weather and at heights, including climbing ladders up to 50 feet and repeatedly lifting heavy equipment.
- Represent Perry Weather professionally on-site: communicate clearly with contacts, answer questions, and demonstrate how hardware connects to the software platform.
- Keep all tools and equipment in excellent condition (all tools are provided by Perry Weather).
- Follow documented procedures and uphold Perry Weather’s quality standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety by following company and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
