Key Responsibilities:Assist in the collection of court-ordered restitutions and fines for criminal and civil defendants. Draft and electronically file legal documents using the Electronic Court Filing (ECF) system. Prepare legal process documents such as garnishments and liens. Send out demand letters, file liens, run credit reports, and prepare subpoenas. Track and manage collection activities within our internal database. Coordinate with AUSAs in the Monetary Penalties Unit (MPU) on collection activities. Conduct fact research using public information databases to gather information and identify assets. Utilize templates to prepare various legal documents, ensuring compliance with style and format rules. Perform routine document center support tasks, including photocopying, assembling case materials, and managing phone communications.
