Required Skills and Abilities:Proficiency in using and understanding various power hand tools and inspection tools. Ability to operate equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, and overhead cranes. Fluency in reading and writing English. Excellent manual dexterity and control precision. Strong critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills. Capability to lift weights up to 22.68 Kg (50 lbs). Experience with power washing equipment. Tools will be provided for job functions. Ability to diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild different types of equipment (pumps). Interpreting blueprints and schematic drawings to establish work procedures. Competence in using manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools. Ability to utilize all M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc.). Work within precise accuracy standards. Dependability and accountability in completing tasks. Physical capabilities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, visual acuity, grasping, hand and finger movement, crouching, twisting, talking, hearing, and cardiovascular exertion.

Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Shop Technician! In this vital role, you will be engaged in the assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of various general equipment. You will operate essential tools to ensure the smooth handling of equipment and employ a range of Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE), such as micrometers and calipers, to inspect solids control equipment effectively.

As a Shop Technician 1, you will directly report to the Shop Manager. Our standard work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime and occasional weekend and holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service.
  • Assist the Shop Manager with packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading deliveries.
  • Operate hot-water pressure washers as needed for equipment cleaning.
  • Support facility projects, including moving items, packing boxes, cleaning, and trash removal.
  • Collaborate with fellow shop team members on equipment installation, service, and cleaning tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Load and unload equipment onto trailers for shipment to job sites.
  • Ensure the installation and verification of required S3S decals prior to equipment shipment.
  • Request tools, supplies, and fixtures needed for your duties.
  • Be adaptable to work in different locations as required.
