Team Overview:
The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team plays a vital role in scaling Neuralink by designing and constructing cutting-edge facilities and infrastructure. We manage everything from greenfield site developments to enhancements of existing spaces. Our team collaborates closely with various departments to understand their immediate and long-term requirements, ensuring the delivery of tailored environments. Job Responsibilities:
As an EPC Engineer on our construction team, you will ensure that Neuralink's construction projects align with the technical specifications established during the design phase. You will tackle challenges that arise on-site by identifying obstacles, proposing solutions, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring the implementation of design specifications or creating revised designs as necessary. An EPC Engineer:
- Leads:
- Quality control and inspections throughout the construction process.
- Project scheduling to meet contractual deadlines.
- Responding to and resolving RFIs regarding construction feasibility or discrepancies from drawings and specifications.
- Negotiating contracts with third-party vendors, contractors, and consultants.
- Preparing purchase orders while ensuring accurate pricing and scope evaluations.
- Reviewing and approving contractor invoices and material procurement.
- Contributes by:
- Participating in regular meetings with trades and internal teams to address technical queries.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to develop practical construction plans.
- Evaluating and selecting contractors.
- Implementing the processes of end users to achieve their design intent in new constructions and renovations.
