Qualifications

 A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.3-5 years of experience with ERP systems, third-party applications, and report development and deployment. Preferred: Experience with ERP and/or Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Familiarity with Finance, Grants, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Procurement BI/Data Warehouse applications and reporting tools. Proficiency in query development and implementation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to create user and project documentation clearly and concisely. Effective meeting facilitation and interviewing skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

About the job

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the project team by overseeing the development and execution of data reports and associated tasks. This permanent exempt position will transition to maintenance and support following the project's completion, anticipated in 3-4 years.

Key Responsibilities:

During Implementation:

  • Collect and document ERP data and report requirements.
  • Configure and test reporting setups to ensure accurate design validation.
  • Develop and implement business process guidelines and user procedures.
  • Draft and revise technical specifications.
  • Create new reports and enhance existing ones.
  • Adhere to project delivery timelines.
  • Conduct and document unit testing.
  • Provide weekly updates and task reports to development leads.

Post Implementation:

  • Detect, troubleshoot, and report ERP data and reporting issues; document enhancement requests.
  • Analyze and design new reporting functionalities to align with current and evolving business processes.
  • Document changes in business processes and create training content for application configurations.
  • Implement new processes and system updates for end users.
  • Engage in regression testing activities.
  • Identify opportunities for optimizing business reporting through innovative processes and leveraging existing system capabilities.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and regression testing initiatives.
