About the Position:
We are in search of an Event Sales Representative who will engage directly with homeowners at community events, festivals, and home shows throughout the area. Your primary objective will be to generate leads and secure appointments for our sales team, all while representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
This entry-level, part-time role provides paid training and an opportunity to develop valuable skills in sales, negotiation, strategic planning, and closing techniques. It's an excellent chance to express your creative communication skills while enjoying the dynamic environment of the third-largest home remodeling company in the nation.
We appreciate customer-facing experience across various industries. While backgrounds in sales, hospitality, retail, food service, education, or service are common, we welcome diverse experiences that showcase strong communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills, qualities vital for success in this role. Although direct event marketing experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
Typical Event Day Overview:
- Location/Transportation Requirements: The Event Sales Representative must travel to various event locations, including home shows, community festivals, craft fairs, and other local events with significant foot traffic; typically within a designated area. Reliable transportation is crucial to ensure timely and consistent attendance.
- Setup & Physical Requirements: The Event Sales Representative is expected to set up branded booths or displays, which may include signage, promotional materials, and product samples. This role requires physical activity, including lifting and arranging materials as needed.
