Join Sigma Defense, a leader in defense solutions, as a skilled Training Specialist. We are looking for candidates with a strong Navy and Marine Corps training background to provide comprehensive Curriculum Development and Maintenance, alongside Training Support for the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group (EWTGPAC), located at our Coronado, CA facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the execution of high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of our Navy and Marine Corps clients.
As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining curriculum currency for various programs, including Expeditionary Logistics, Expeditionary Fires, Fire Support Marine Pipeline, Marine Amphibious Raid, and Tactical Air and Joint Fires. Utilizing online/web-based authoring tools such as Authoring Instructional Material (AIM II) and the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS), you will produce Master Lesson Files that encompass objectives, lesson guides, student guides, classroom media, and assessments to gauge student knowledge and performance. You will also create and align course test banks with course content and objectives.
Your role will include offering training to instructor staff on curriculum development procedures and reviewing existing materials. You will conduct evaluations of instructors and provide recommendations regarding their certification and annual assessments. By analyzing student critiques and After Instruction Reports (AIRs), you will contribute to developing effective training solutions.
