Key Responsibilities:Conduct Electrical and Mechanical routine maintenance on equipment, perform quality inspections, and troubleshoot issues on production lines to minimize downtime. PCL Logic experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Execute electro-mechanical repairs on high-speed, PLC-controlled equipment, including handling and packaging machinery, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Communicate effectively with production teams, providing timely updates on breakdowns and downtime. Provide technical support for plant facilities, including compressed air, refrigeration, and steam systems. Perform Preventive & Predictive Maintenance routines, including inspections, reports, and remedial actions. Assist the Production Team in achieving operational targets. Monitor production line performance closely, identifying faults and opportunities for improvement. Proactively address points of failure and performance reductions. Demonstrate initiative in fault detection and execute necessary remedial actions. Analyze current procedures for efficiency improvements. Collaborate with equipment suppliers on new installations and modifications. Maintain cleanliness in work areas and contribute to achieving 5S standards. Engage in training and development programs for cross-skilling and job-related competencies. Utilize the maintenance management system (CMMS) to record changes, store transactions, and document work performed. Participate in toolbox talks and complete permit to work and risk assessments (training provided). Be available to support and participate in the rotating shift cover roster (4 on / 4 off). Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, as well as site food hygiene and safety standards.
