This role demands exceptional coordination among Process, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines through our Engineering Subcontractor and OEMs.Key ResponsibilitiesInstrumentation & Control DesignEvaluate FEED and EPC deliverables including P&IDs, C&E matrices, instrument index, and loop diagrams.Finalize instrument sizing, specifications, and installation details in compliance with ADNOC standards.Develop and validate operational control narratives and logic for IA/PA compressor functionality and inter-platform coordination.Assess layout drawings for instrument positioning and accessibility on existing decks.Control System Integration (IA/PA Network)Oversee the integration of compressor UCP panels (e.g., Atlas Copco) with existing ADNOC systems, including:ABB DCS (800xA)Rockwell ESDGE Fanuc / Emerson F&GPMS / ECMSDefine signal mapping and communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet).Validate duty/standby logic and automated start/stop sequences across platforms.Ensure dependable operation without disrupting other platform control networks.Collaboration with Engineering SubcontractorLead discipline reviews and validate I&C deliverables.Provide technical insight on ADNOC standards and SOW requirements.Ensure timely submission of all project deliverables.Monitor and resolve TQs/RFIs and action items from design reviews.Vendor / OEM InteractionEngage with OEMs and vendors for compressor, dryer, and control systems.Review vendor datasheets, I/O lists, control logic, and alarm philosophy.Participate in FAT/IFAT/SAT and confirm signal testing and interlocks.Coordinate integration between vendor UCPs and ADNOC Offshore automation systems.Process Safety & Functional IntegrityContribute to HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and PHSER workshops.Implement process safety instrumented functions (SIF) and verify SIL levels.Ensure alarm priorities, trip settings, and shutdown logic are aligned with operations.Brownfield / Construction SupportReview instrument installation details for connections to live systems.Prepare and review method statements for instrument replacement and cabling activities.Support loop checking, function tests, and C&E testing during commissioning.Ensure compliance with ADNOC PTW and SIMOPS procedures.

Objective:The Quality Control Inspector for Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing that all E&I installation, testing, and commissioning processes are conducted in strict adherence to approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant international codes and standards. This position is essential in ensuring compliance with client specifications and driving the project's quality goals forward.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough inspections and monitoring of Electrical and Instrumentation activities in alignment with established Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).Examine the installation of cable trays, conduits, cables (LV/MV/Control/FO), lighting, grounding systems, panels, junction boxes, instruments, impulse tubing, and field devices.Ensure all activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and vendor data.Confirm that installation practices conform to applicable standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, BS, and project specifications.Verify correct identification, tagging, and labeling of cables, equipment, and instruments.Witness and validate continuity, insulation resistance (IR), megger, HV/LV cable testing, loop checking, and functional testing.Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), calibration, and pre-commissioning tasks as necessary.Ensure the use of calibrated and approved testing equipment.Review and verify test results, certificates, and records for compliance.Manage and submit Request for Inspection (RFI / IR) and ensure prompt resolution.Collaborate with construction teams, subcontractors, QA/QC Engineers, and client representatives during inspections.Adhere to the Project Quality Plan, ISO 9001 standards, and client specifications.Engage in both internal and external audits, site quality meetings, and quality toolbox discussions.Proactively identify quality-related issues and support preventive measures.Report, track, and address Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and implement corrective actions.Maintain and regularly update Quality Logs including RFI/IR, MIR, and Calibration log.Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings, test dossiers, and handover documentation.
