As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a key role in enhancing user interaction through innovative design for our mobile applications. We are seeking a part-time Mobile UI/UX Designer who is not only creative but also possesses a solid understanding of front-end development practices. Your contributions will directly influence the look and feel of our apps, making them visually appealing and user-friendly.
This role allows for flexible working hours (20 hours weekly) with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position as we grow. You will collaborate with our development team to ensure that your design vision is accurately implemented.
Your Responsibilities
- Enhance current mobile app projects that utilize React and AI-assisted design tools.
- Revamp app interfaces to reflect a modern and unique brand identity.
- Design clean, responsive layouts suitable for iOS and Android platforms.
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of designs.
- Manipulate project files (React or AI-generated) to adjust UI elements and styles as needed.
- Maintain brand consistency across all mobile applications and digital platforms.
- Optionally, assist with branding projects including logo and website design.
Your Qualifications
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your experience as a Mobile UI/UX Designer.
- Deep understanding of mobile design principles, user flows, and responsive behavior.
- Familiarity with React Native or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
- Basic front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to understand how design impacts the implementation process.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive designs.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in branding and logo design.
- Familiarity with AI-driven design tools like Lovable and Bulk.new.
- Knowledge of accessibility and UX best practices.
