Role Overview: Energy Customer Advisor
The Energy Customer Advisor (internally called Energy Specialist) joins the Customer Operations team. This group focuses on delivering excellent service and ensuring every customer’s voice is heard within the organization. The role serves as the main contact for clients and acts as an ambassador for Vandebron’s approach to green energy and smart solutions.
Early in the role, the focus is on quickly learning day-to-day operations and working closely with other teams. There is room to identify improvements, address challenges, and help refine how the company serves its customers. Advisors handle customer questions from start to finish, with real ownership and autonomy.
What You Will Do
- Manage and resolve a range of customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and chat.
- Handle each customer query thoroughly, maintaining accurate records.
- Develop creative solutions for complex customer situations.
- Gather feedback from customers and highlight opportunities to improve products, services, or processes.
- Identify and address internal obstacles, suggesting specific improvements.
- Support customer retention by providing tailored advice on Vandebron’s products and services.
- Treat customer and business data with care and attention to privacy.
- Share knowledge and experiences with teammates to strengthen the group.
