We are in search of a Principal Web Engineer who will take ownership of the technical strategy for our marketing website from start to finish.
In this role, you will be responsible for making key architectural decisions, establishing engineering standards, overseeing external partnerships, and influencing how our organization leverages digital experiences as a catalyst for growth. While you will engage in hands-on coding during critical phases, your primary contribution will be your judgment, strategic vision, and accountability for results.
Technology Stack: Astro.js, TypeScript, Sanity (headless CMS), HubSpot, GTM, Google Analytics, Zendesk.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Developing an all-encompassing technical strategy for the marketing website, encompassing platform selection, architecture, and performance optimization.
- Overseeing website builds and redesigns, from gathering requirements to successful launch.
- Establishing infrastructure for conversion optimization and experimentation, enabling rapid progress for the growth team.
- Designing the website data layer, including event architecture and tracking standards that contribute to broader business intelligence efforts.
- Creating a robust content infrastructure in Sanity, including content models, reusable components, and COPE pipelines.
- Formulating AI strategies for the website, assessing opportunities for personalization, dynamic content, and intelligent search functionalities.
- Managing external partnerships and making critical build-vs-buy decisions.
