Depending on the age and learning objectives, each group comprises six to eight children who attend 't Kabouterhuis for one to four days a week.Within the group, you will collaborate with dedicated Youth Care Workers, providing daily support and guidance to young children facing developmental and/or psychiatric challenges. You will gain insights into process diagnostics conducted within the group and learn how to assist children in developing new skills, such as emotional regulation and social competencies.You will observe behavior and development, support both group and individual guidance, and understand how treatment, parent communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration are integrated into practice. Orthopedagogical employees support children not only in the group but also in school, daycare, or at home.Furthermore, we will explore opportunities for you to accompany ambulatory work or work with a prevention officer. You'll also have the chance to shadow colleagues from various disciplines to gain a comprehensive understanding of our methodology based on the IMH vision.
