The CARM office is responsible for the essential functions of Mission Assurance (MA), defense critical infrastructure (DCI), and Risk Management for the Air Force, which includes identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and overseeing risk management actions for vital USAF and Department of Defense (DoD) assets, in compliance with Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 3020.45.Your primary responsibilities will include conducting asset identification and assessment within the Mission Assurance framework. This encompasses recommending the nomination or designation of assets based on mission criticality, updating asset information in MA systems of record, and preparing for MA Assessments. You will also prepare briefings, contribute to technical analysis white papers, and conduct routine analyses of Air Force assets to support Headquarters Air Force CARM activities.
