You will be integral in delivering large-scale government programs with budgets ranging from $25 million to over $100 million, traversing the entire project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities Include:Validate products and materials ordered for projects, ensuring compliance with specifications.Monitor construction performance and document activities to guarantee adherence to construction documentation requirements.Oversee inspection work to confirm that methods, materials, and equipment meet approved standards.Manage project documentation, including construction inspectors' daily reports and progress schedules, while facilitating the shop drawing submittal process and incorporating RFIs.Coordinate with the General Contractor to schedule tests and inspections mandated by contract documents or governmental authorities, and ensure timely delivery of reports to the OWNER and Architect.Review punch lists submitted by staff, verifying completion and corrections before recommending substantial completion to the Owner.Track construction progress, handle field documentation (including RFI and submittal validation), and provide engineering support in collaboration with MEP and CSA inspectors.Attend all site meetings and coordinate with the general contractor on required meetings.Align project documentation with Project Controls (cost and schedule) reviewers.Lead the Change Management Process.Assess and approve Pay Applications.Document the condition of off-site stored materials, including securing necessary insurances and bills of sale for Owner's pay application review and approval.Participate in technical evaluations for A/E, GC, and vendor selection.Conduct feasibility and constructability reviews of design submittals.Obtain all essential District of Columbia project permits.Review CPM Project Schedules and enforce critical path adherence, ensuring understanding of scheduled activities.
