THE POSITION
Join our dynamic team at FanDuel, where we are looking for a talented Senior Enterprise Security Engineer to enhance our security landscape.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise security controls that align with our strategic goals. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our security posture and addressing a variety of security challenges. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Enterprise Security Engineering to drive risk reduction without compromising user experience.
Additionally, you may be tasked with other responsibilities as assigned, promoting operational flexibility to meet the evolving needs of our business.

- Utilize innovative models like “secure by default” and “zero trust” to foster a sustainably secure environment.
- Act as a security subject matter expert, collaborating with internal teams to support business objectives and tackle security issues.
- Lead the development of team roadmaps by keeping abreast of the latest threats and proactively identifying security risks.
- Implement automation and development-driven solutions for enterprise-wide security controls.
- Leverage artificial intelligence to enhance Security Engineering initiatives across FanDuel.
- Support the security organization as needed; collaboration is key to our success.
THE STATS
We are seeking the following qualifications in our ideal candidate:
- Proven expertise in security engineering with a successful track record across various domains, including Zero Trust, Endpoint Security, Data Protection, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and SaaS Security.
- Intermediate proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby; familiarity with Python and PowerShell is preferred.
- Experience with identity and access management frameworks and protocols, including SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and WebAuthN.
- Ability to effectively model threats to corporate infrastructure and implement prevention-focused architectures and controls.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders from engineering to legal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with a high level of adaptability.
