JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Field Service Engineer to become a crucial part of our Humanoid product ecosystem. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations, repairs, maintenance, and spare parts management of our robotic systems, both at Apptronik facilities and on-site with customers. Your primary goal will be to ensure optimal uptime of robotic systems, meticulously document performance metrics, track fleet reliability, and provide training to team members. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer insights that enhance system implementation, design improvements, and integration with various technologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report daily operational status of robots and connected equipment at Apptronik and customer sites.
- Conduct system bring-up, troubleshooting, emergency services, preventative maintenance, and manage spare parts.
- Document processes, create work instructions, user manuals, troubleshooting guides, knowledgebase articles, FAQs, and training plans to maximize system uptime.
- Develop status reports, dashboards, Pareto charts, and other analyses to present key performance metrics.
- Record and document system performance, identify issues, and suggest improvements.
- Travel to customer locations as needed for system repairs, maintenance, and training sessions.
- Assist in integrating fleet management platforms with customer Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for successful deployment.
- Define requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely support for customers in close collaboration with systems engineering and product management teams.
- Promote best practices in customer support, ensuring high-field service standards, scalability, and reliability.
- Work alongside product, project, and engineering teams to facilitate the design and implementation of scalable and resilient systems.
