Role Overview: Sales Director, Retail Media
This Baltimore-based role leads the expansion of Kepler’s retail media division. The Sales Director will shape go-to-market strategy and drive revenue across a growing retail media ecosystem. The position centers on platforms such as Amazon Ads (SPA, DSP, AMC), Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Instacart, Criteo, DoorDash, and other emerging Retail Media Networks (RMNs).
The Sales Director will acquire new enterprise retail clients, build lasting partnerships with brands and agencies, and champion Kepler’s “Retail 360” approach. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of retail sales operations and retail SEO/content, plus a belief in retail media as a full-funnel business driver.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Manage the full sales cycle for enterprise retail opportunities, from prospecting to contract close, with a focus on high-growth endemic advertisers.
- Build and maintain organized sales pipeline documentation, including forecasts and projections.
- Refine Kepler’s retail media story to help productize and differentiate services in the market.
- Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities by developing a strong understanding of Kepler’s full suite of offerings and communicating value to clients.
