As a Relationship Manager in Corporate & Commercial Banking, you will be responsible for developing robust work schedules to identify and engage prospective clients.Your role involves fostering positive public relations with both existing and potential customers, ensuring their needs are met through tailored credit facilities.You will plan and report on marketing calls, while collaborating with the Group Head to prepare and review comprehensive credit proposals.Monitoring customer compliance with credit agreements is paramount, and you will present and defend these proposals before the Credit Committee.Additionally, you will provide on-the-job training for Account Officers, negotiate foreign exchange and credit rates within prescribed limits, and aim to maximize profitability for the bank.Your responsibilities also include monitoring unit performance against established monthly, quarterly, and annual plans, preparing the team's annual budget, and presenting the Unit's Monthly Profitability Report.Regular appraisals of supervised Account Officers and achieving personal and team performance targets are essential components of this role.Other duties may be assigned by the Group/Unit Head as needed.
