Fabricate, maintain, and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.Set up and operate both manual and CNC machine tools (lathe, milling machine, and grinder) to design and build simple tooling.Work from blueprints, sketches, models, and verbal descriptions to build, rebuild, modify, and repair tools, dies, gauges, and necessary equipment.Compute dimensions and plan layout and assembly operations. Measure, mark, and scribe metal stock for machining.Fabricate, maintain, modify, and repair metalworking dies and related tools.

Your tasks will include:Setting up and operating manual machines like lathes, milling machines, and grinders to manufacture simple to moderately complex parts as per specifications.Measuring, marking, and scribing dimensions to lay out stock for machining, assisting the Tool & Die Maker in planning and layout operations.Positioning and securing parts in holding devices and using hand tools to fit and assemble parts.Verifying that finished work meets specifications with precision measuring tools.Providing support to Tool Grinders and assisting in various machining processes.
