Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver captivating science lessons while providing academic support for junior middle school students.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the science curriculum and cultivate co-curricular science initiatives (e.g., Science Week and themed activities).
- Organize and oversee science activities across various age groups (lower, middle, and upper school).
- Ensure safety, order, and cleanliness in all science laboratories while supporting lab work.
- Assist with robotics and STEAM programs as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and departments, with a focus on supporting ESL learners in science classes.
- Enhance students’ scientific skills and provide additional tutorials for exceptionally talented students.
- Promote essential 4C skills (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity) and foster cross-cultural understanding among students and colleagues.
- Engage in curriculum development, professional development activities, and maintain organized teaching materials on the school’s online platforms.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, lead clubs/electives, assist with student activities, trips, and fulfill routine administrative tasks such as attendance and grading.
