Your role will include facilitating project scoping, developing detailed timelines and budgets, and identifying potential project barriers. You will also coordinate with other support departments as needed. Key deliverables include creating both high-level and detailed project plans, monitoring resource time reporting, providing project status updates, and resolving risks and issues. Regular communication with stakeholders and the project team is crucial. You will identify risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, while potentially receiving support from senior PMO staff as required.Strong communication and influencing skills are a must to maintain cohesion among stakeholders and team members through project updates, meeting facilitation, and both in-person and virtual communications. Facilitate project collaboration, oversee project plans, manage issues and risks, and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders. Timely escalation of issues and risks in accordance with established governance criteria is critical. Ensure that project statuses, issues, and successes are communicated effectively to the project team, sponsors, and all levels of management, with proper documentation.Project PlanningUnder the guidance of the PMO Lead, collaborate with business units to finalize project charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and stakeholder assessments. Work with the PMO Lead to secure external resources and coordinate internal resource needs, manage contracts, and lead project kick-offs. Select and implement the methodology that best suits the project's objectives, utilizing specific methods, templates, and tools from Les Schwab that can support various approved methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile).Support Continuous ImprovementStay updated on emerging trends and technologies in project management.
