As a Senior Backend Engineer at AMBOSS, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience for doctors and medical students, enabling them to make informed decisions that affect the healthcare of billions globally. We are looking for an individual who is deeply passionate about harnessing technology to its fullest potential and leading the charge in engineering excellence. Join our agile team in transforming educational institutions, such as medical schools and clinics, by optimizing the use of AMBOSS resources in their teaching methods.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead engineering projects for our innovative B2B product, “Educator Tool,” from inception to deployment.
Promote best practices in coding standards, testing, and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project requirements and specifications.
Respond to ad-hoc requests from customer support.
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning by sharing knowledge within the AMBOSS community.
Your Qualifications:
Extensive experience with PHP and its modern frameworks such as Symfony, Slim, and Laravel, alongside proficiency in MySQL.
Comprehensive experience across the full web development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
