Our System Administration team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our colleagues remain productive and our systems stay secure within a contemporary, SaaS-driven IT ecosystem. As a System Administrator at Blacklane, you will take ownership of our essential internal IT platforms, which encompass identity and access management, SaaS applications, endpoint management, and local infrastructure. You will engage in hands-on work, automate repetitive tasks, and strive to enhance the design and operation of our internal IT services instead of merely maintaining existing systems.Our core IT landscape: Active Directory, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, macOS, Linux, Windows, and various SaaS business tools.YOUR CHALLENGE:Manage and operate critical internal IT platforms and associated SaaS services.Design, implement, and maintain user lifecycle management and access controls across systems (joiners/movers/leavers, RBAC, group structures, app provisioning & de-provisioning).Configure and maintain SSO integrations, security policies, MFA, and conditional access in our IdP.Support and enhance endpoint management by leveraging OS-level policies to ensure a secure and efficient client setup.Collaborate closely with Platform and Security teams on cross-department initiatives.Address 1st/2nd/3rd-level incidents and requests related to core IT systems.Drive automation of repetitive tasks using scripts and APIs.Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.Oversee local Server and Network Infrastructure.Participate in and lead IT projects (e.g., migrations, new tool rollouts, security enhancements, standardization initiatives).Contribute to on-call or after-hours work for critical changes or incidents when necessary.ABOUT YOU:At least 5 years of hands-on system administration experience in a modern, SaaS-heavy environment.Strong background in server and network administration.Solid IdP / SSO and lifecycle management skills (policies, integrations, etc.).
