With the support of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), you’ll receive specialized training and the opportunity to grow your expertise in servicing Kia vehicles.Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, covering essential systems such as engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components. Accurately complete repair orders and warranty requests in line with Kia and retailer policies. Conduct test drives to analyze and diagnose vehicle issues using Kia’s diagnostic tools and strategies. Deliver exceptional service by performing diagnostics and repairs promptly, while maintaining clear communication with the shop foreman and service advisor for optimal customer satisfaction. Participation in a one-year competency-based apprenticeship approved by the GI Bill, leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Eligible Veterans may qualify for a substantial GI Bill Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during their apprenticeship.
