In this role, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing IonQ's mission of constructing the leading quantum computers and networked systems to tackle the world's most intricate challenges.Your primary focus will be on the Real-Time Classical Channel, where you will develop the embedded logic essential for synchronizing and controlling quantum operations with nanosecond precision. You will oversee the firmware and logic running on FPGAs, executing critical tasks such as nanosecond-level synchronization and managing "Repeat-Until-Success" feedback loops. This role is integral to providing the hardware abstraction layer that enables the quantum node's operating system to operate seamlessly.
