We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Production Technician. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse team dedicated to building the world's leading quantum computers, designed to tackle some of the most complex global challenges.
Your responsibilities will include the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of opto/mechanical and custom electronic assemblies, adhering to established procedures. Key tasks involve installing electronic assemblies into 19” racks and integrating wire harnesses and cables.
Additionally, you will engage in fiber optics curing on optical fiber cables, participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives, and initiate nonconformance records for production issues. You may also support New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering tasks and perform select optical alignments to meet production deadlines.
This position demands a proactive manufacturing electronics technician with a solid background in assembly and testing. Knowledge of free-space optical assembly, including high-precision devices, alignment of assemblies, and adherence to manufacturing best practices are highly desirable attributes for successful candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily production build schedules in manufacturing.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Product Engineers, following detailed work instructions to assemble Quantum Computer components with a focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.
- Assist in the build and testing of components for Quantum Computers.
- Document assembly best practices and present findings to technical teams.
- Undertake additional duties as required to meet business needs.
- Contribute to EHS best practices.
