Key responsibilities Build and lead a warehouse team responsible for receiving, shipping, distribution, and logistics, working closely with the Associate Director of Production. Collaborate with operations management to plan and assign daily tasks to production associates, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards. Contribute to the development and improvement of operational systems, such as: Designing material flow processes, including FIFO and allergen segregation. Maintaining 6S organization throughout the warehouse. Implementing scalable inventory systems and conducting routine cycle counts. Managing updates to electronic data systems. Keep inventory and storage areas organized for efficiency. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of shipments and inventory transactions. Coordinate inventory transfers with other departments as needed. Optimize storage layouts and floor space based on best practices. Identify and recommend improvements to warehouse operations. Perform monthly physical inventory counts and resolve discrepancies. Handle other related duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high-volume receiving or food service environment. Experience handling produce is required. Background in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving is essential. Valid license for operating motorized hand trucks, forklifts, reach trucks, or stackers. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
