As a Senior Environmental Monitoring Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, sampling, and supervising field activities in accordance with the specific requirements of your area (Inspection Order, procedures, and established operational guidelines). You will participate in service opening and closing meetings and develop work schedules based on the Inspection Order. Your role involves delegating field activities and tasks among your team of inspectors to ensure the successful execution of services. You will oversee adherence to the schedule and manage the submission of inspection documents (deliverables) to the Operations Coordinator or Project Coordinator.It is essential to verify the equipment and materials provided by the Instrumentation and Material Preparation team before and after service execution. You will keep the Project Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, and Account Executive informed about the progress of inspections and any events that may impact service delivery, as well as keeping clients updated on service specifics.You will ensure that the personnel under your supervision attend safety briefings and complete the Preliminary Risk Analysis (APR) form before commencing work. Quality supervision of staff assigned to the service will be required, alongside ensuring safety protocols are followed according to associated risks.Monthly reporting of unsafe acts and/or conditions will be required in Intelex, along with completing a minimum of 20 hours of safety training. Participation in Safety Tools initiatives and the annual training program in Quality to achieve basic sampling matrix certification is expected. You will also provide qualifications to the personnel involved in service delivery in collaboration with the Quality department.We encourage you to propose improvements for enhancing service delivery by actively participating in the review of inspection and sampling procedures.
