We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst specializing in SAP FICO to join our dynamic team at Atec Spine. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in configuring, troubleshooting, and enhancing our financial modules and integrating external systems. Key integrations include Avalara tax integration and iRec / Bank of America CashPro reconciliation processes, requiring close collaboration with stakeholders in SAP Sales and Distribution.The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of Finance and Controlling along with the ability to navigate system dependencies with Sales & Distribution processes. You should thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:Deliver daily support for SAP FICO modules such as GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis.Configure and oversee finance settings within SAP S/4HANA, including document types, posting keys, tax configurations, and payment terms.Facilitate Avalara integration, focusing on transaction tax determination, jurisdiction mapping, and API troubleshooting.Optimize bank connectivity and reconciliation processes with iRec / Bank of America CashPro, which includes statement processing and cash application tasks.Collaborate closely with SAP SD teams to improve Order-to-Cash processes, encompassing pricing, billing, taxation, and revenue recognition.Engage with internal Finance stakeholders (AR, AP, GL, Treasury, Tax) to capture requirements and convert them into functional designs.Participate in change management cycles, system upgrades, release testing, and transformation projects.Draft functional specifications, system documentation, process flows (BPMN/SAP Signavio), and test scripts.Ensure compliance with data governance, audit requirements, and SOX controls.Conduct root-cause analyses of incidents and recommend preventive measures.Perform unit, integration, and UAT testing with business partners.Monitor system integration logs and address reconciliation errors related to Avalara, banking, and financial postings.Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
