Whether the application involves a Deepwater field development or a Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage initiative, understanding customer requirements is paramount. You will ensure that tool designs meet our internal standards, validate testing adheres to industry specifications, and capture lessons learned during post-test inspections for the production release.Identify requirements and functionalities as part of the Project Charter.Design components and assemblies according to established standards while performing necessary design and safety calculations.Collaborate with the simulations team (FEA/CFD) to model tool performance effectively.Lead design reviews throughout various project phases.Work closely with the Project Manager to procure prototype components in a timely manner.Team up with the Testing department to assemble, validate for high-pressure and high-temperature testing, disassemble, and inspect equipment.Implement corrective actions and incorporate lessons learned into final production designs.Contribute to the Design for Excellence program and various reliability initiatives within the oil and gas sector.
