Join our dynamic Sales Engineering team as a Sales Engineer, where your enthusiasm for technology and your people skills will shine. As a pivotal contributor, you will leverage your robust business insights and in-depth product expertise to support our sales initiatives during both in-person and virtual meetings. Your role will be instrumental in helping OnLogic achieve ambitious growth objectives by establishing technical credibility with both existing and potential customers.
In this position, you will lead product strategy for new business acquisition, engaging in consultative selling with senior engineers and CTOs to ensure our solutions are tailored to meet their needs. You will also monitor market trends and gather valuable insights directly from our customers to inform our approach.
We value the importance of in-person collaboration and a strong workplace community, which is why this position requires you to work onsite at our Cary, NC or South Burlington, VT offices. Candidates willing to relocate or commute are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with potential and existing clients alongside the Sales team to gather and analyze application requirements, identifying the best solutions for their use cases.
- Work closely with the Sales team to influence prospects and ensure strategic alignment for successful solution development.
- Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations teams to creatively address internal and external challenges, fulfilling client expectations.
- Act as the customer advocate within our product development team, offering critical insights into current and future client needs.
- Serve as the primary liaison between key Engineering and Product Management teams, incorporating subject matter expertise as necessary.
- Engage with engineers to fulfill customer needs across regulatory, electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
- Confidently present product proposals to clients, ensuring technical accuracy through comprehensive knowledge of OnLogic’s products and capabilities.
