Role overview The Senior Solutions Engineer - Data Center at CompuNet Inc. is based in Casper, WY. This position centers on supporting Data Center systems, working with both clients and internal teams. Responsibilities span pre-sales design through to post-sales implementation, ensuring solutions meet client needs from initial concept to final delivery. Main responsibilities Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies and solutions for clients. Conduct technical assessments during pre-sales and create detailed system designs. Prepare Bill of Materials (BoM), illustrations, diagrams, and Statements of Work (SoW). Explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Implement systems according to design specifications after the sale. Create project documentation following implementation. Provide end-user training on systems administration for installed solutions. Build and maintain partnerships with manufacturer Partner SEs. What success looks like Listen to customer technical challenges and design solutions that address business needs. Communicate clearly across a variety of technologies. Maintain current certifications and pursue new technical expertise. Participate in team calls, meetings, and events.
