You will also manage subrogation efforts and negotiate settlements to ensure optimal customer service and claim outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Acknowledge receipt of claims and provide timely updates.Investigate claims to determine validity and compensability, gathering necessary information.Establish reserves and authorize payments within your authority limits.Develop and implement action plans in collaboration with case managers to minimize claim costs.Coordinate return-to-work initiatives with case managers and employers.Manage claim subrogation and negotiate settlements as needed.Oversee the litigation process, ensuring effective management of all potential recoveries.Communicate status updates with customers and claimants regularly.Adhere to client and carrier guidelines while participating in claims reviews as required.Build and maintain professional relationships with customers.Attend work consistently and reliably.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in Workers' Compensation claims management.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.Thorough knowledge of claims administration, case management, and cost containment strategies related to Workers' Compensation.
