We are excited to announce an opening for a Lab Analyst II at our City of Industry, CA laboratory! This position is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented and passionate about analytical chemistry. As a Lab Analyst II, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing samples with utmost accuracy and precision, adhering to SGS' stringent analytical SOPs.Your role will involve working both independently and collaboratively to meet daily production targets while ensuring compliance with hold times and turnaround expectations. You will apply your understanding of basic analytical chemistry principles and uphold safe laboratory practices to maintain a secure working environment.Key Responsibilities:Independently prepare and analyze samples following SGS’ analytical SOPs, utilizing instruments specific to department methodologies after appropriate training.Conduct routine operations, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.Assist with validation and MDL studies as required.Help in investigating and preparing responses to client inquiries and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).Input and maintain technical information to support laboratory functions.Keep a detailed Laboratory Notebook where necessary.Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.Perform additional tasks as assigned.
