This role involves close collaboration with an Electrical Superintendent III or Senior Superintendent to oversee electrical subcontractors, guarantee installation excellence, and uphold stringent safety and scheduling standards.The Electrical Superintendent II typically facilitates the execution of specific electrical scopes, including branch distribution, lighting, grounding, low-voltage systems, and the enforcement of safety and QA/QC procedures.Key Responsibilities:Assist in crafting and managing short-term schedules, prefabrication tactics, and workforce planning for electrical scopes.Coordinate daily operations with mechanical, structural, and general trades.Ensure prompt delivery and proper staging of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.Conduct daily quality inspections to confirm that electrical installations adhere to code, project specifications, and mission-critical standards.Develop execution plans, coordinate strategies, and complete QA/QC documentation, checklists, and inspections.Assist with commissioning preparations, including equipment verification and test readiness.Support the installation of UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs/RPPs, grounding grids, and low-voltage systems.Engage in readiness walks and integrated systems testing with commissioning teams.Ensure that installation methods comply with redundancy and uptime requirements (e.g., A/B feeds, segregated pathways).Enforce electrical safety measures, including LOTO, arc-flash protocols, and avoidance of energized work.Lead daily safety assessments with field electricians and subcontractors.Provide direction and support to electrical foremen and subcontractors during daily installations.Act as a primary contact for issue resolution with senior leadership, engineering, and stakeholders.Participate in coordination and planning meetings as necessary.
