ABOUT THE TEAM
The Maneuver Dominance team at Anduril focuses on developing operationally effective multi-asset autonomy. Our goal is to enable large groups of autonomous systems to collaborate seamlessly. We utilize existing Anduril drone platforms such as Ghost and Altius, while also integrating third-party platforms into Anduril’s Lattice ecosystem.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to join our expanding team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will tackle a diverse range of challenges related to networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more, making practical engineering decisions along the way. Your contributions will ensure that Anduril’s products interact fluidly to achieve critical objectives. If you embody a “Whatever It Takes” attitude, executing efficiently and pragmatically while prioritizing the mission and making informed engineering choices, this position is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee the mission autonomy systems and services deployed to customers.
- Develop code to enhance products and expand mission capabilities for a broader customer base.
- Collaborate across teams to design, build, and test complex functionalities.
- Generate and assess metrics for debugging and monitoring purposes.
- Identify and resolve issues, determining root causes and coordinating subsequent actions.
- Work with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering limitations.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for real-world capability testing and deployment.
