We are creating fully integrated hardware and software systems, including Lattice for Space Missions and modular payloads, to tackle emerging threats in the space domain and maintain our Guardians' strategic superiority.ABOUT THE JOBWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Engineer of Space Missions and the Growth/Strategy leads of the Orbital Systems team to define technical strategies and roadmaps that effectively utilize existing Anduril technologies and newly developed solutions to meet customer mission objectives. Your contributions will span pre-award demonstrations, initial contract phases, and full contract execution. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure the efficient development and delivery of innovative hardware and software solutions tailored to our clients' needs.This role encompasses leading the design of complex, integrated systems for on-orbit operations and demonstrations, including managing sub-contracted team members and strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for facilitating effective technical development and integration across organizational boundaries in an agile development framework, adhering to a continuous integration and continuous deployment model. Additionally, you will balance the introduction of new capabilities with the integration of existing Anduril capabilities while effectively communicating development progress to customers.The Senior Systems Engineer will oversee all technical aspects of program execution from proposals to System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), assembly, qualification testing, and the delivery of flight units for launch.
