Role Overview The Senior Accountant at LPC supports accounting operations and financial reporting for assigned markets and corporate cost centers. This hybrid position in Dallas, TX, focuses on accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of payroll, commissions, billings, cash management, and month-end close activities. Key Responsibilities Technical and Accounting Tasks Manage daily accounting functions for multiple markets and corporate divisions, including billing, payroll, cash flow, allocations, and support for month-end close. Oversee payroll allocations, ensuring payroll entries are posted on time and retroactive adjustments are calculated correctly. Reconcile payroll on weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly schedules, and record accruals for bonuses and incentive compensation. Prepare and coordinate payroll billings related to real estate service agreements. Generate and maintain client invoices for billable services, ensuring they are complete and sent on schedule. Validate contract terms to confirm accuracy in service agreements, fee structures, and billing triggers. Coordinate cost center and headquarters allocations across corporate departments. Create and manage earnest money deposit wires for potential projects. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepaids, commissions payable, payroll, and other assigned accounts. Perform bank reconciliations for relevant accounts, including central disbursement accounts. Review expenditures to ensure proper classification of fixed assets and prepare depreciation and amortization entries. Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies. Assist in reviewing monthly financial statements and analyze significant variances month-over-month, year-over-year, and against budget. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Collaboration and Business Partnership Work with Finance and FP&A teams on variance analysis and financial reporting. Review accounts receivable activities, communicating with finance teams about large outstanding balances or notable receipts. Respond to requests for financial and operational data from Finance and FP&A.
