About the Role
The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Responsibilities include maintaining organized and clean workspaces, verifying product quality, and ensuring precise documentation for every order. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, safe material handling, and effective communication with the production team to meet both customer expectations and production timelines.
What You’ll Do
Shipping:
- Securely package and wrap products to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify paperwork accuracy using ERP systems to ensure correct shipment quantities and parts.
- Generate precise bills of lading and maintain organized shipping documentation.
- Monitor conveyor lines, remove finished units, and load products into trailers or storage areas.
- Inspect products for quality and packaging compliance prior to shipment.
- Stretch wrap and prepare pallets for delivery.
- Track critical daily shipping items and communicate status updates to the production team.
- Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Manage recycling of materials as necessary, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining a clean workspace.
Receiving:
- Process all inbound shipments, confirming counts and quality against accompanying paperwork.
- Deliver in-process materials or parts to production areas as required.
- Conduct visual inspections of received items for accuracy and quality.
- Record and maintain accurate inventory data.
Material Handling and Inventory:
- Perform inventory stock spot checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
