Join our dynamic Yard Team at Doka, where your efforts will be essential in ensuring the organization and cleanliness of our yard. You will support various facets of material production while fostering a safe work environment. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks associated with yard operations. This role is situated at our Far South branch in Davie, FL, and you will report directly to the local Yard Manager.Key Responsibilities:Material Handling: Efficiently load and unload materials and equipment using forklifts and other machinery.Yard Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized yard, free from debris, while performing routine maintenance tasks to uphold a safe and efficient working environment.Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished products, promptly reporting any discrepancies.Production Assistance: Facilitate production activities by transporting materials, tools, and equipment as necessary, collaborating with team members to achieve production targets.Equipment Operation: Safely operate machinery, including forklifts and skid steers, conducting regular checks to ensure proper functionality.Safety Compliance: Adhere to established safety protocols to minimize risks and promptly address any safety concerns.Team Collaboration: Work closely with welders and fabricators to support a seamless workflow and meet project deadlines.General Labor: Perform various general labor tasks as assigned, such as cleaning and assisting in the setup of work areas.
