Ready to take the leap?This internship spans 6 months, offering a full-time, hybrid experience based in our Toronto, San Francisco, or Denver offices, with guidance from experienced designers.Your Impact Begins HereWe seek a creative Visual & Motion Design Intern to enhance the artistry and sophistication of our product experiences across mobile and web platforms. You will collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and the design systems team to animate interfaces thoughtfully, ensuring refined visual details and impeccable execution.This is a hands-on role for makers. You will design motion studies, UI animations, micro-interactions, and visual enhancements that breathe life into our product, making it feel responsive and enjoyable. Your contributions will influence subtle loading animations, engaging transitions, data visualizations, and celebratory moments across iOS, Android, and the web.Key Contributions and Impact:Enhancing Product Craft:Design and prototype motion patterns for key product interactions across mobile and web, including transitions, feedback states, loading indicators, component behaviors, and celebratory moments.Collaborate with product designers to refine and enhance features post-launch.Create high-fidelity visual assets ensuring pixel-perfect implementation across all platforms.Engage in data visualizations, illustrations, micro-interactions, and UI transitions.Building Motion Language:Contribute to establishing motion principles, timing curves, and animation patterns that can be scaled across our design system.Document motion guidelines and add reusable assets to our component library.Promote consistency in the user experience across all platforms.
