Qualifications
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (MSME preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in design and engineering analysis. Proven experience in transitioning at least one complex electromechanical product from concept to production. Solid understanding of designing molded, sheet metal, and machined components. Proficiency in SolidWorks; familiarity with Creo is a plus. Ability to prepare engineering documentation according to ASME Y14.5 standards for production release. Hands-on analysis experience in two or more of the following areas:Tolerance analysisFinite Element Analysis (FEA) and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)Material strengthHeat transferShock and vibration analysisAbility to collaborate within teams in a fast-paced product development environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and certification processes. Hands-on skills in shop/lab environments are advantageous. Project management experience is a bonus.
