POSITION OVERVIEW As a Relief Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician at VEG, you will play a crucial role on the front lines of emergency veterinary care, where every moment is vital. You will manage a variety of cases, from routine to critical emergencies, collaborating with our veterinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. Your responsibilities will encompass triage, diagnostics, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while providing emotional support to pet owners during their challenging times. This role is ideal for those eager to apply their training, expand their expertise, and assist pets and their families in urgent situations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide exceptional care to every patient and their owners, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their treatment journey. Act swiftly to deliver nursing care and emotional reassurance from initial triage to discharge. Administer medications, perform monitoring, and demonstrate proficiency in procedures ranging from IVs to blood transfusions. Communicate effectively as a team player, contributing to care plans and ensuring a seamless flow of treatment. Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional, supported by our comprehensive training program.
